About Me

My name's Andi Farr — I'm a graphic and web designer, and semiBad is my personal site. I live with my lovely girlfriend Kathryn in the equally lovely Stony Stratford (which is essentially the socially-acceptable face of Milton Keynes, UK).

I graduated in 2006 from the Cumbria Institute of the Arts with a degree in graphic design. Since then, I've been working as design lead at K International, based in Linford Wood, Milton Keynes — fitting in small freelance and personal projects whenever I can!

this is me

Outside of design, my small pleasures are cooking, video games, and the odd book (words or pictures, I'm good either way). I have a long-standing love of dance music in (almost) all forms (and although I'm clearly mellowing with age, I'm unlikely to be listening to acoustic singer-songwriters any time soon).

I'm always interested in working on cool stuff with excellent people, so if you have a collaborative project you want me to help with, just give me a shout. In fact, feel free to get in touch about anything you like — I'm actually ten kinds of nice when you get to know me.

Thanks for taking the time to read semiBad — I hope you find something you like.

This is semiBad version 1, although there were a fair few unreleased versions which existed only on a test server. Before the launch of this site, semibad.com was simply a holding area I used for pictures, files, and assorted bits of web code. My old portfolio site (put together in a couple of days when I was looking for a job) can still be found at www.generictext.com — assuming that you have flash, no special accessibility requirements, and aren't bothered by a complete lack of web standards...
