Dog Stealers and the Cosmic Patron

Four day weekend! We were all over the place — we drove down to Canterbury for a good friend's birthday celebration (see previous post) and then to Peterborough to get a passport. Along the way I found these two things which I felt obliged to share.
This sign was on the wall outside the Bell and Crown, in Canterbury. I didn't realise Dog Stealing was still such a problem in the South East.
While getting reaquainted with the institution that is Wilko's, I found this little gem. The photo is terrible, because I felt like a total dickhead — giggling away, trying to take a picture with my iPhone, as a small boy looked on in confusion.
